Where can I buy the Treemore trees? For business interests you can contact us via contact form below or email to info@treemore.eu. As a consumer, you can contact Bloompost and Plantje.nl
-
I would like to personalize something, is that possible?Yes! A card with your own design or a logo on the jar or box is one of the standard options. Please contact us at info@treemore.eu to discuss the details.
-
Can a plant be safely sent by mail?Yes. The pot and packaging are specially designed to safely send plants by letterbox. The pot cannot slide and the soil is kept in the pot with a special lid.
-
How long can the tree stay in the box?One week is no problem at all. But of course the following applies to the health of the plant: the shorter the better.
-
Can I also hand out the plants?Yes, it is just as nice to physically hand over the plants. Thanks to the smart packaging, everyone can put the plant in their bag and take it home undamaged.
-
What makes this a sustainable gift? With the letterbox tree concept we offer a unique and sustainable alternative to other promotional gifts. A bunch of flowers quickly disappears in the green bin and a gadget often in the drawer. A tree or plant can last a lifetime with proper care. The memory of the giver grows with it. Sustainability is also central in our company and in the production chain. We use no plastic and no fossil energy.
-
Where do the trees come from?We work together with various (tree) nurseries. All plants come from the Netherlands, with the exception of the olive trees that come from Spain. All plants that we send are provided with a plant passport (on the back of the supplied booklet). Most varieties in our range come from an organic grower.
-
What are the dimensions of the box?30 x 12.5 x 3.1 cm (L x W x H). It fits through 99% of letterboxes. If it doesn't fit, the postman will ring the bell or deliver it to the neighbours.
-
What is the size of the pot?The jar is 8 cm high and 2.7 cm thick. The content is approximately 95 cc.
-
How much space is there for a personal card? The inner dimensions excluding space for the potty are 20 x 11.5 x 2.7 cm (l x w x h). Of course, the plant is still in it, but an A6 card can easily be added.
-
What is the lid made of?The jar is biobased and degradable and made from a residual flow from potato processing mixed with elephant grass fibres. Read here more about our pots.
-
What is the box made of?The box is made of cardboard, FSC certified and 100% recyclable.
-
What is the booklet made of?The booklet is made from 100% recycled paper and printed with organic ink. The booklet is also 100% recyclable.
-
What is the lid made of?The cover is made of PLA (a biopolymer) and is biodegradable.
-
How long can the plant remain in the pot after receipt?A maximum of one month, provided there is sufficient light and water. But the sooner the roots get space, the better. An additional advantage of a larger pot is that you need to water and feed less often.
-
How do I best care for my plant? The supplied booklet and here our website contain the most important care tips. If you have a specific question, search the internet for the answer (especially plant forums are full of tips) or send us a message.

My plant is not (yet) growing, what can I do?Don't worry! Trees and outdoor plants grow little or no growth between October and April. They are in hibernation and some species drop their leaves. Houseplants will also almost stand still in the winter months due to the lack of light. Still not seeing growth in May? Then provide a large pot and a warm, light spot (between 20 and 30 degrees) and give it plenty of water. There is a good chance that your plant will grow quickly.
-
What do I do with the box after receiving it?The box is made of FSC cardboard and is fully recyclable. If you no longer need the box, it can therefore be disposed of with the old paper.
-
What do I do with the pot after repotting? You can reuse the pot to grow your own plant. Don't use it anymore? Then put it in the residual waste. The jar is biobased and made from a residual flow from potato processing mixed with elephant grass fibres. It is a biodegradable product, but because composting takes longer than the residence time in an industrial composting installation (where our organic waste goes), it is advisable to throw away the jar with the residual waste. Then it is made into bioenergy. The same applies to the lid. They are made of PLA (a biopolymer) and can be disposed of with residual waste. If the jar or lid ends up with the organic waste or in nature, it will break down in the long term. Unlike conventional plastic, no microplastics are released.
-
My plant arrived damaged, can I return it?Because these are living products, the plants cannot be returned. Together with our resellers and couriers, we do our utmost to get all plants to their final destination undamaged. In the unlikely event that the plant is damaged to such an extent that it can no longer be saved, please contact the seller.
